Goethals — Merry

Sam and Edie Goethals of Needham and West Chop announce the engagement of their daughter Lauren Goethals to Joseph Merry, son on David and Jeanne Merry of West Tisbury.

A September 2011 wedding on the Vineyard is planned.

Dylan Walsh

Dylan Walsh, son of Mrs. Barbara K. Walsh of Chilmark, has spent the fall 2010 semester studying abroad in Florence, Italy through a program run by Saint Michael’s College. Walsh was a student at Lorenzo de Medici School.

Walsh, a junior business administration major at Saint Michael’s in Burlington, Vt., graduated from Dover-Sherborn Regional High School.

Welcome Gabriella

Jennifer and Roger Schilling Sr. of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of a daughter, Gabriella Joy Schilling, born on Nov. 25, 2010, at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Gabriella weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces at birth. She is also welcomed by her big brother, Roger Jr.

Felype Arrives

Alcione da Silva and Antonio da Silva of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of a son, Felype Marcos da Silva, born on Nov. 29, 2010, at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Felype weighed six pounds, 12 ounces at birth.
