Katie Litwinowich Will

Marry Stephen Meinelt

Jim and Ann Litwinowich of Holden announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Litwinowich, to Stephen Meinelt, son of Terry and Kathy Meinelt of Topsfield.

Ms. Litwinowich is a 1999 graduate of Wachusett Regional High School. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in English from the University of New Hampshire. She is attending Suffolk University Law School and is working as a summer associate at a law firm in Boston.

Falmouth Academy Honors

Seventy-nine students were named to the Falmouth Academy Headmaster’s List for the third trimester of the 2007-2008 academic year. To be named to the list, students must earn at least three As in their five core subjects and have no grade lower than a B minus.

Degrees

Two Oak Bluffs residents recently received degrees from Simmons College in Boston. They are Morning Star Tarter, who received a bachelor of science degree in nursing, and Whitney Burke, who received a master’s degree in library and information science.

Dean’s List

Emmeline C. Brown of Oak Bluffs has been named to second honors on the dean’s list at Clark University in Worcester.

On July 12, 2008, Morgan Elizabeth Taylor became the bride of Robert F. Lucero. The ceremony was performed under the cottonwood trees at Horse Creek Cattle Company Ranch in Horse Creek, Wyo. A reception followed at the same location.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Constance Taylor of Chilmark. The bridegroom is the son of Margaret Lucero and Flavio Lucero of Cheyenne, Wyo.
