Georgia Arrives

Joann Cassidy and Joel De Roche of Edgartown announce the birth of a daughter, Georgia Marie De Roche on July 24 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Georgia weighed 8 pounds and 12 ounces at birth.

Receives Scholarship

Comcast has awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Rachel Schubert of Vineyard Haven, a graduating senior at Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School.

She received the scholarship under the company’s Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program, which annually recognizes students who have demonstrated leadership skills.

Welcome Brady

Heidi and Asa Vought of Edgartown announce the birth of a son, Brady Nicholas Vought, on August 7, at the Martha’s Vineyard Community Hospital. Brady weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces at birth. He is also welcomed by big brother Micah.

Joshua and Suzanne Provost Flanders announce the birth of their daughter, Hannah Evealoe Flanders, on July 14 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Hannah weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces. She joins big brothers Joshua, David and Christian. Her grandparents are Glenn and Marcella Provost of Vineyard Haven and Patricia Flanders of Edgartown.

Mollie Doyle and Thomas Bena of Chilmark announce the birth of a daughter, Emma Elizabeth Bena, on August 3, at Martha’s Vineyard Community Hospital. Emma weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces at birth.
