Ruth and Adam Darack of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of a daughter, Bailen Carolina Darack, born on April 25 at the Martha’s Vineyard Community Hospital. Bailen weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces at birth.
Welcome Kylee
Kathleen and Marc Brasefield of Edgartown announce the birth of a daughter, Kylee Joe Brasefield, born on April 17 at the Martha’s Vineyard Community Hospital. Kylee weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces at birth.
Trout Tournament
The 34th annual trout tournament sponsored by the Martha’s Vineyard Rod and Gun Club will be held rain or shine at Duarte’s Pond off Lambert’s Cove Road from 5 to 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10. More information is available by calling Bob De Lisle at 508-627-3019.

Camila Nascimento and Mauricio Brandao of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of a son, Luiz Mauricio Nascimento Brandao, at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital on April 16. He weighed 6 pounds, 12.4 ounces.
Bethany Alane Brown of Newport, R.I., married Richard James Villa 2nd of Chilmark on Sept. 22 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Edgartown.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alan G. Brown, Bethel, Conn.
The Alzheimer’s Services of Cape Cod and Islands will present a program on Saturday, April 26, designed to help caregivers and family members better understand and deal with Alzheimer’s Disease.
The organization will present the program from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Vineyard Haven Public Library, Main street, Vineyard Haven.
An educational conference (eligible for continuing education units) for professionals will be held from 9 a.m. to noon.
