Dr. and Mrs. Gerald F. Westover of Wolfeboro, N.H., and Edgartown would like to announce the birth of their first grandchild, Andrew Chase Formica. Andrew was born Dec. 28 at Winchester Hospital in Winchester. He weighed 8 pounds, 15 ounces.

Julia and Alessandro Barbosa of Edgartown announce the birth of a son, Haile Amazonas Barbosa, born Feb. 4 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Haile weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces at birth.

Kristy and Jaroslav Kral of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of a daughter, Emily Sandra Kral, born March 6 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Emily weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces at birth. She is also welcomed by big brothers Darien and Dylan.

Alexander D. Rossi, class of 2008 at Assumption College in Worcester, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2007 semester. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Rossi of Edgartown.
