Lobster Rolls Back
Celebrate Holly Day at the Grace Episcopal Church on the corner of Woodlawn and William streets in Vineyard Haven this Saturday, Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a luncheon including the church’s famous mini lobster rolls served with holiday flair between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The event features baked goods, a white elephant gifts table, Island handmade crafts, handmade knitwear, fresh centerpieces and door swags and a children’s room full of age-appropriate treasures under a dollar.
Alexandra Susan Weisman, a daughter of Suzanne Steinfeld Weisman and Hugh Stix Weisman of New York city and Chilmark, was married on Sunday, Oct. 11 to Malcolm Hume McDowell 3rd, a son of Kathleen Otto McDowell and The Very Rev. Malcolm Hume McDowell Jr. of Harwich.

Sarah Karlinsky and Seth Karlinsky of Chilmark announce the birth of a son, Nathaniel Richard Karlinsky, born on Nov. 18, 2009, at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Nathaniel weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces at birth. He is welcomed by big brothers Andrew and Matthew.
Erica and Kenny Ponte of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of a son, Jake Fischer Ponte, born on Nov. 20, 2009, at the Falmouth Hospital.
