A four-week-old investigation into an alleged sexual assault in the State Forest remains open and unsolved, Edgartown police said this week.
A 44-year-old Wareham woman has been charged with larceny after Edgartown police said she allegedly broke into and resided at an Edgartown home and sold or gave away items in the house.
A Vineyard Haven woman was arraigned April 10 on several counts of breaking and entering a building and larceny from a building.
A grant will allow the Aquinnah police department to buy a new four-wheel drive utility vehicle.
Matthew P. Tucci, formerly of Edgartown, was sentenced to 238 days of time already served by a superior court judge. Drug charges were dropped after the court found evidence in the case could not be admitted.
Edgartown police said in a statement Wednesday they are running down leads based on responses from a community alert issued following the alleged assault on April 2 in the state forest. Police have a detailed description of the alleged attacker.
