Joseph Lacaprucia, 26, of Oak Bluffs, has been charged with assault to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a kitchen knife) and assault and battery after an early morning disturbance on Dreamer’s Way in Oak Bluffs.
A plea and sentencing proceeding for Trevor J. Medeiros, 21, was postponed Monday in Dukes County superior court because of concerns about prescription drugs he was given at the Edgartown house of correction. The Hon. Tina Page has rescheduled the hearing for Monday.
Mike G. Jean-Francois, 26, of Middleboro, Brandon F. Merkman, 32, of Sagamore and Quentin A. Phillip, 28, of Boston, were all indicted by a Dukes County grand jury on one count of trafficking oxycodone, 18 to 36 grams and one account of conspiracy to violate the controlled substance act. The spring session of Dukes County superior court began Monday.
