Memorial Day Coffeehouse
Rabbis for Human Rights and the Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center present Songs of Peace and Justice, A Memorial Day Coffeehouse, on Monday, May 26 at 7 p.m. at the Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center, Vineyard Haven.

Alison Shaw: Orange
The opening reception for the 2008 season at the Alison Shaw Gallery is set for Saturday, May 24 from 4 to 7 p.m.
This year the gallery is showing work from Ms. Shaw’s many series of fine art photographs, unified by the theme of color. Choral Concert
The choir of First-Plymouth Church, UCC of Lincoln, Neb., under the direction of Dr. John C. Cummins, will present a 30-minute concert on Friday, June 6 at noon at Trinity United Methodist Church in Oak Bluffs.
The concert will include music by Vierne, Viadana, Mendelssohn and Brahms. Two classic spiritual arrangements by William Dawson will be sung. All are welcome to attend. A free will offering is requested. More information is available by calling 508-645-3100.
