I feel like it’s been windy for weeks on end. The warm days at the beginning of the week, coupled with the aforementioned wind, are drying out the baby plants and seedlings at an alarming rate.
After what seems like weeks of rain, it is finally drying up. My potted perennials all needed water.
Palm Sunday was so chilly and rainy that it was difficult to imagine spring is supposed to be happening.
I’m not one to complain about rain. Any day now it will be hot and dry with non-stop work so I’m enjoying the end of down time.
I’ve said repeatedly that I wish I had a job as a weather forecaster. They get it right maybe half the time.
I’m going to say something that every old person on the planet says on a regular basis: “They don’t make things like they used to!”
