My life is a series of fixing things and moving stuff. I feel as if I could do a George Carlin stand-up routine.
Last Sunday’s snowstorm caught me off-guard. It is beyond me why I ever watch the weather man.
I hate shopping. It is the endless wandering about stores trying to make sensible decisions. It’s why one year I gave hard, cold cash for Christmas.
I’ve always loved carrots. Some years are better than others concerning the growing of them. I am loathe to thin anything.
Here it is heading into actual winter and I have yet to get my bulbs into dirt. I do have to give myself a bit of credit, however, since I was much more moderate in my ordering than in the past.
I spent some time last week thinking about things in my life for which I am grateful. Certainly there is health, family, shelter, food and friends.
