There was excitement in the air on Sunday as the ribbon was cut on a new pottery studio at Featherstone Center for the Arts.
The girls tennis team is the lone Vineyard contender in post-season play, as the players continue their march today to a third consecutive state championship. Boys tennis and boys baseball both lost in their playoff games on Thursday in hard fought, close games.
Best of the Vineyard winners were announced Thursday at the Farm Neck Golf Club in Oak Bluffs.
On Sunday, June 11, the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School’s class of 2017 will see their hard work pay off at their graduation ceremony, beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the Oak Bluffs Tabernacle.
Both high school tennis teams and the baseball team won this week to continue in post-season play. All three teams play today. Baseball and boys tennis play away; girls tennis plays at home at 3 p.m.
The evening was cool and the sky a pale purple last week as Friday night football returned.
