The town of Tisbury is installing a new sidewalk between Pine Tree Road and Oak Grove Cemetery, ending the longstanding but unsanctioned use of the roadside for vehicle parking.
The Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School reconstruction plan cleared a significant hurdle last week, when the Massachusetts School Building Authority board of directors approved the conceptual design for a combined renovation and addition.
The school’s first new principal in nine years, Sean Mulvey already is a well-known member of the MVRHS community. He’s worked in the guidance department there since 2019, alongside his wife, fellow counselor Erika Mulvey.
Tisbury’s select board has approved a dozen draft articles for the Sept. 30 special town meeting warrant, which the board will finalize at its Sept. 2 meeting.
