P.A. Club Artisan Fairs

The P.A. Club in Oak Bluffs is holding a series of Vineyard Creations Fairs, the first one taking place on Sunday, June 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fairs serve as fundraisers for the club’s many outreach activities, including their benevolent work and student scholarships. This year they gave away $26,000 to high school seniors.

The benevolent work involves helping members who become sick or to assist with burial costs or general ongoing needs.

Film Society Movie

A young lover juggles passion and morals. She tries to balance atop a teetering marriage. She hides a blooming love affair. She’s got all the duties of a crowd of circus performers, but not the skill sets. Her act is crumbling.

Relax, this is not an Island resident - it’s Hester Collyer, a confused wife in post-War England in the movie, The Deep Blue Sea, playing on Saturday, June 9, at the Katharine Cornell Theatre, located at 54 Spring street in Vineyard Haven.
