The first baby of the new year arrived Saturday. Rocco Robert Fiorito was born at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital on Jan. 11 at 10:26 a.m. He is the son of Kate Hennigan and John Fiorito of Edgartown.
Jack Rossi made his arrival at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital at 6 p.m. on Monday — the first baby born on the Island in 2018. He is welcomed by his parents, Ellen and Ryan Rossi of West Tisbury.
Acacia Vitoria Lima was born Wednesday, Jan. 4, welcomed by parents Viviane and Adriano Lima of Vineyard Haven and older sister Clarice.
Lauren and Jim Steiner of Oak Bluffs welcomed Avery Brenda Steiner 38 seconds after midnight on Sunday. Avery is the first baby of the New Year on the Cape.
Orion Grace Newton Thibodeau arrived at 1:09 p.m. on Jan. 7 at the Martha's Vineyard Hospital. Her parents are Maria and Janet Newton Thibodeau of Edgartown.
