Maisie Rose was born on Jan. 1 at 6:26 p.m. at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital, the first baby born on the Island in 2025. Maisie weighed six pounds and six ounces.

Cameron Snow Godbout was born at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital on New Year’s Day at 9:04 p.m. becoming the first Vineyard baby of 2024.

Sol Cove Fischer Turner was born on New Year’s Day at home in Edgartown to parents Lila Fischer and Nic Turner.

Abe Harold Courtney was born at 4:47 a.m. on Jan. 2 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital, the first baby of the new year on the Vineyard. Abe weighed 8 pounds, 9.7 ounces at birth. The proud parents are Cassie Bradley and Patrick Courtney of Chilmark.
