Another storm blew through Martha’s Vineyard last weekend, with cold rain and wind that drove even the hardiest Islanders indoors for hearth fires, soup making and steaming mugs of tea.
This Saturday, the 50th Chilmark Potluck Jam will brighten the windows at the Chilmark Community Center and spread its glow over a Martha’s Vineyard winter, as it has done for more than 10 years now.
Graphic report chronicles the gleaners, from farm fields to larders. Volunteers are always needed.
