Kimberly and Jack D’Arcy of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of a daughter, Teagan Drew D’Arcy, born on May 15 at the Martha’s Vineyard Community Hospital. Teagan weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces at birth.
Alden Besse, chairman of the Vineyard’s 2007 Crop Walk for the world’s hungry, recently gave Armen Hanjian, coordinator of the Island Food Pantry, a check for $4,708 from last fall’s walk.

Athlete Chosen
Genevieve Flanders, daughter of Joyanne and Steven Flanders of Chilmark, has been selected to compete for the Hamilton College women’s outdoor track and field team for the 2008 season.
A junior majoring in neuroscience at Hamilton, Flanders is a graduate of Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School.
