After a one-year hiatus, Kate Taylor will return to play her annual Vineyard show this summer.

Pianist Aldo López-Gavilán arrived on the Vineyard Saturday and spent much of Sunday practicing in advance of concerts with Harlem Quartet on Monday and Tuesday as part of the Martha’s Vineyard Chamber Music Society summer series.

Martin Sexton is a showman and on Friday evening he put on a heartfelt show at the Old Whaling Church. The show was a benefit for WMVY.

On Friday Isaac Taylor opens for Martin Sexton in a benefit concert for WMVY and Club Passim. He will perform songs from his first album, Peace in the Valley, due out in September.
