Thank you to Animal Health Care Associates at the Martha’s Vineyard Airport for doing the right thing during a crisis on April 17.

As former summer chairs, former directors and former executive directors of the Chilmark Community Center (CCC), we are writing to express our strong support for the Chilmark Town Affairs Council (CTAC) and its many years of oversight of the CCC.

Recent reports have highlighted select issues from the debate regarding the administration of tennis in Chilmark that is up for vote on April 23 at town meeting.

It was disappointing that the ban on commercial gas-powered leaf blowers did not pass but encouraging that so many people voted in favor of it.

I note with sadness the passing of Cong. Bill Delahunt. He was a true friend of Vineyard.

I support Article 87 — Large Events in Residential Neighborhoods — that is scheduled for vote at town meeting on April 9.
