The Martha’s Vineyard Commission is once again weighing whether a three-story hotel should replace the former Ocean View Restaurant at Chapman and Wayland avenues.

A shout-out to whoever is responsible for the striking improvement in the Steamship Authority reservation system.

On Dec. 4, the Martha’s Vineyard Commission will deliberate and possibly make a decision on the proposed Ocean View Hotel.

Last month, the Edgartown Conservation Commission voted unanimously to approve revised Orders of Conditions for Wasque, Leland and Cape Pogue — a milestone decision that follows nearly 18 months of hearings, appeals and negotiation.

I am writing in regards to the request before the Martha’s Vineyard Commission to build an auto repair shop at 8 Vineyard Meadow Farms Road.
