In my opinion, spring has sprung.

I made a futile attempt for the six o’clock boat out of Woods Hole on Tuesday morning. The full moon was hovering over the golf course on the Woods Hole Road. It made the snow an eerie apricot color.

I know it will not last but I’m enjoying looking out the window on Tuesday afternoon and seeing the first real snow of the winter.

Monday and Tuesday were proof positive of Vineyard living at its finest. Both days were sunny and warm bursting with the promise of spring.

I definitely would hate to live in the upper Midwest this week. It’s downright cold enough here on the Vineyard.

Brrr, I’m not a big fan of single digits. This winter has been fairly mild up to this point so last Monday morning’s two degrees was a rude awakening.
