Nicole and Matthew Cancellare of Vineyard Haven announce the birth of a son, Cruz Carter Cancellare, born on Dec. 7 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Cruz weighed 7 pounds, 12.8 ounces at birth.
Emily M. Cavanagh and James Reuben Fitzgerald of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of a daughter, Olivia Katherine Fitzgerald, born on Dec. 11 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Olivia weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces at birth.
Vincent DeGregorio of Vineyard Haven has been inducted into the Alpha Lambda Delta honor society at Salem State University. Mr. Vincent is one of 216 students at the school to receive the honor.
Oliver Filley, Margaret Hibbard and Taylor Stone of Edgartown, and Alexander Dimovich and Janelle Fortes of Vineyard Haven have been named to the dean’s list at the Savannah College of Art and Design for the Fall 2012 quarter. Students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 in order to receive the recognition.
