Voters passed all 12 articles at special town meeting Tuesday in under 30 minutes.

The annual Veterans Day parade kicks off at 10:45 a.m. Saturday from Nancy’s Restaurant on Lake avenue and winds its way up to Ocean Park. There, a ceremony honoring the country’s veterans will begin at 11 a.m.

Fifty years after being exchange students at the regional high school, Claudio Mac-Lean and Daniel Poletto came back to the Island this week to see their old host families and reminisce about helping start the high school's soccer team.

Oak Bluffs will hold a special town meeting on Nov. 7 at the Martha's Vineyard Regional High School Performing Arts Center. Attendees will cast their votes on 12 articles regarding town maintenance projects, affordable housing land designations and formatting changes to town bylaws.

On Saturday, the tree stewards of Oak Bluffs hosted an inaugural tree planting at Niantic, Nashawena and Wesleyan parks, planting 10 trees with the help of 26 volunteers.
