When Kathy Rose was evicted last June, she found herself in a likely predicament. She had read about tiny houses, a growing trend across the country, and when she saw an ad for one in Tisbury she decided to take a chance.
A state police bomb squad late last week removed what appeared to be a bazooka round from the Edgartown transfer station. State police Sgt. Joseph Pimentel told the Gazette the bomb was inert and likely a leftover from World War II, when large areas of the Island were used for target practice.
