Helena Film on Saturday
The Martha’s Vineyard Film Society screens Helena from the Wedding at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan 15.
The film will be shown at the Katharine Cornell Theatre on 54 Spring street in Vineyard Haven. Admissions is $8 or $5 for film society members. Doors open 30 minutes prior to screening.

Wii Will Return
As part of its Focus on Fitness programming the Edgartown Library will launch a free Wii Dance Dance Revolution workout on Wednesday nights, beginning Jan. 26. This Wii workout combines fun and easy-to-learn moves with hit music from the last four decades.
The workout is open to participants of all levels of expertise age 18 and older. Coach Elyce Bonnell will lead the group through the moves. Water, healthy snacks and a workout log will be provided.
Been walking the walk but don’t know how to talk the talk? On Saturday, Jan. 22 Perry Garfinkel, a contributor to the New York Times, National Geographic and the Huffington Post, will lead an all-day travel writing workshop for those with the itch to tell their tales of the road.
The seminar will explore the entire writing process, from idea formulation to the finished product. So reach into your experience bag and come prepared with ideas.
