The Vineyard Preservation Trust celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year. Its half-century milestone will include celebrations and reflections on how the Trust came to be and where it’s going.
The Vineyard Preservation Trust kicked off its 50th anniversary celebrations Thursday with Taste of the Vineyard, one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for the organization.
The building at 37 Main street, currently home to the boutique Sole, is owned by the North Water Street Corporation and is one of the oldest storefronts in downtown Edgartown.
Over 30 artists, sponsored by Island businesses, created fish-inspired pieces for Bass in the Grass, the annual derby celebration of creativity.
The Vineyard Preservation Trust is currently spearheading the Grange Hall Project to repair the building, which is in need of a multi-million dollar facelift.
In their best florals and summer colors, people flocked to the Dr. Daniel Fisher House in Edgartown to try the fare from more than 80 vendors to raise money for the Vineyard Preservation Trust.
