Against the looming prospect of significant debt for the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School building project, Tisbury officials intend to ask local voters in April to fund construction of a new town hall.

Edgartown voters unanimously approved all 14 warrant articles at a speedy special town meeting Tuesday, including a $2.5 million free cash article to make up for a shortfall in new fire station funds. 

Edgartown voters will consider $2.8 million in funding at a special town meeting next week, with a majority of that money sought to fill a funding gap for the new fire station project.
