On Wednesday morning, representatives from Home & Garden Television gave a tour of the latest Dream House to be given away in early 2015. The house is on Crocker Drive in Edgartown and all the artwork was sourced locally.

In August, Cable network HGTV revealed the Vineyard as its location for the 19th annual Dream Home giveaway and sweepstakes. The grand Cape Cod-style home in Katama was completed last month, and a drawing for the home will be held in May 2015.

A spokesperson for the ABC Family show confirmed this week that The Vineyard won't be renewed for a second season.

A new reality television show to be set in Oak Bluffs is looking for cast members. Casting is open to all ethnicities and ages, said producer Darren Toon, but the show would ideally follow a multigenerational African American Oak Bluffs family and their social circle.

The Vineyard, the ABC Family reality show filmed on the Island over the spring, concluded its first season on Tuesday night. The docu-drama followed a group of 20-somethings as they transitioned from adolescence to the so-called real world over the course of a Vineyard summer.
