A proposal to establish a new fund for improvements to the buildings and campus at the regional high school will come before voters in every Island town this year.
A Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School student was arrested Monday after he was found on school grounds in possession of marijuana and pellet guns, according to Oak Bluffs police.
After years of debate and planning on the future of the Tisbury school, the town will vote at annual town meeting on whether to fund a $46.6 million new school project.
The second annual Island-wide job and volunteer fair will be held on Saturday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The high school facilities subcommittee voted to recommend that the high school move forward independently of other projects to fund the track.
When it comes to deciding whether to finance a multi-million dollar new school project, Tisbury selectmen are leaving it up to the town.
