At the West Tisbury town meeting on May 18, we have a chance to meet a critical community need by voting yes on article 6, designating the vacant three acres of land at 401 State Road (east of Lambert’s Cove Road) for affordable housing.

Raise your children to emulate the character of Peter Herman and the world will be a better place.

Three years ago, this month, on the eve of a vote for the Tisbury School’s fate, a group of 14 Vineyard Haven residents co-authored a letter to the editor (Opponents Press for Alternative Plan, 4/19/18).

It is sad to see so much trash along our roads.

By now, most of us have been cooped up at home for over a year.

As the weather warms and we start spending more time outdoors, I want to remind everyone that they need to protect themselves against ticks.
