On Saturday night, Islanders gathered at The Island Inn in Oak Bluffs to raise money for relief efforts in Jamaica and to celebrate Jamaican food and culture. Local chefs including Chef Deon, Jimmy Alvarado of TigerHawk provided a buffet dinner with music from DJ Dern.

 

 

 

Offshore Ale Hosts Fundraiser for a Girl With a Lot of Moxie

On Sunday, March 15, the Offshore Ale Co. in Oak Bluffs will hold an all day fundraiser for Samantha Caldwell, a third grader at the Tisbury School fighting brain cancer. Throughout the day, 100 per cent of food profits will be donated to the Caldwell family.

A pop-up party held at Herring Creek Farm for 300 diners dressed all in white raised $4,000 for the Martha's Vineyard Museum on Wednesday evening. Even the clouds were white as nature loves a good theme-party, too.
