No New Coronavirus Cases Monday on the Vineyard, As Testing Expands

After a three-case jump over the weekend, the number of Covid-19 patients on the Island who have tested positive held steady at 22 for the second day in a row on Monday, despite an expansion of testing at both the local and state level.

The arrival of May was greeted with no new coronavirus cases on the Vineyard Friday. Gov. Charlie Baker instituted new statewide face-covering rules to limit the spread of the virus and local officials strengthened their messaging to seasonal residents as stay-at-home orders continue.
