Announcing Aerowyn
Vanessa and Alan Fink of Oak Bluffs announce the birth of a daughter, Aerowyn Neveah, born on Oct. 28, 2008, at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Aerowyn weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces at birth. She was welcomed by big brothers Ethan, 6, and Ryan, 2.
Alanna Arrives
Brianna and Christopher Flanders of Bourne welcomed their first child, Alanna Mavro Flanders, on August 1, 2008. She weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces and was 20 inches long. Alanna is the granddaughter of Noreen and Brian Flanders of Vineyard Haven, Sue Rego of N.C. as well as Karen and Jim Jean of N.H. Great-grandparent honors go to Lorraine and Richard Mavro of Oak Bluffs, Florence Flanders of Vineyard Haven, Georgeanna LaRosa, Phyllis Rego, and Pauline Jean.

Katerina and Karolina
Twin girls were born to Katerina Vlckova and Ales Fiedler of Vineyard Haven on Oct. 15 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. Katerina Fiedlerova weighed 6 pounds four ounces at birth, while her sister Karolina weighed 5 pounds 11.2 ounces.
