Membership Down!, at the Portuguese American Club Tuesday night, will be this off-season’s last chance to enjoy the high-spirited, collaborative performance style of multi-skilled Island choreographer Abby Bender.
The anything-goes variety show is a both a belated St. Patrick’s Day celebration and a fundraiser to help refurbish the PA Club’s parking lot.
Abby Bender is the founder of the annual Built on Stilts dance festival that takes place each August. The offseason finds her creative spirit moving in many directions, including the supernatural.
