The regional high school sailing team traveled to Osterville on Saturday to compete in the New England Sailing Schools Association championship. This is the first year the team has qualified for the championship, which features the top eight schools in New England.

The Vineyard finished the day ranked sixth of eight teams. A forfeit by the fourth-place team, however, gave the Vineyarders a spot in the upcoming National Invitational Tournament, to be held May 24-25 in Cambridge.
