The Tisbury Senior Center hosted a reception Sunday afternoon for its volunteers, who do everything from answering phones to delivering holiday meals. All three members of the town's board of selectmen were on hand to award volunteers with a certificate of appreciation and a bright spring boutonniere. Door prizes were awarded to many of the guests.
"What you do is valuable, and I hope you realize it," senior center director Joyce Stiles-Tucker said. "We really cherish those people who are here and volunteering time."
