The purchase of 304 acres of undeveloped land at Red Gate Farm from the Kennedy family includes a mile of pond frontage and half a mile of Atlantic-facing beach. The property, which will be renamed Squibnocket Pond Reservation, will be open to the public after a yearlong biological study.
