The Martha’s Vineyard Shellfish Group group hosted its second annual Shellfish Extravaganza benefit Saturday night at the Chilmark Community Center featuring fresh oyster shucks for a buck and music by Johnny Joy and the Bluefish. All proceeds benefit the shellfish group programs, which include millions of hatchery-raised seed clams, oysters and scallops that are planted in Island ponds.
