January has now settled in and the holidays are behind us. There is an optimistic way to look at this new season. The sun in winter will now turn back toward the Northern Hemisphere, toward the Vineyard. Winter blocks the call of seasons just past. Its purpose now is to move us forward toward those days of thaw, toward the arrival of spring.
