On Island Time: School's Out for Summer
Today was the last day of classes for most Island schools. Cheers echoed from every classroom as the noon bell rang at the Edgartown School, signaling the end of another school year and the start of summer vacation. The doors burst open in Oak Bluffs and ecstatic school children piled out of school and into summer. And West Tisbury School faculty played instruments as students piled into buses for the last time this year.
