Now is the time to replant window boxes and dooryard pots, and replace hardy pansies and Johnny jump-ups with their heat-loving stand-ins: geraniums, impatiens and nasturtiums. Time to put out tomatoes, peppers, eggplant and summer squash in the vegetable garden. Time to shear the sheep and put away horse blankets for the year.
