Which way the wind blows is never a given. At your back, in your face, becalmed — each day or moment can bring something new to face, or refresh, or wait out.
It is reality, out there on sea or surf or turf. It is also a metaphor for so much of what unfolds in life — helpful, hurtful or just plain boring. But the beauty of change is the certainty of it. Now is forever becoming then, just as the question of what will be, becomes the truth of what is.
In other words, when the wind blows against you, don’t forget to turn around, for then the wind will be at your back.
