A blizzard arrived last week with force and depth as if to say, this winter is far from over. It was a weekend warrior, hitting its stride on Saturday, and taking its time to linger until Tuesday when the weather turned.
On Friday the rain came to wash most of the week away, except the memories — of sledding and shoveling, of workers plowing the streets on overdrive, and a harbor community coming together to save a schooner.
A snowstorm can be a clean slate, if you let it be.
