The autumnal equinox arrived, officially putting summer to rest. But the ocean still beckons, the sun still bakes and the wind still blows mostly warm. In other words, October may stand waiting around the corner of next week, but September has chosen, at least for now, not to yield.
So let the flannel and sweaters, the thick socks and firewood, stand idle for a bit longer. There is no need to rush things. No need at all.
