Runners from around the country gathered on the Island this weekend for the sixth annual Martha’s Vineyard marathon and half marathon. The 26.2-miler began at the YMCA and wound through the state forest, Katama, then onto Beach Road heading to Oak Bluffs and crossing the finish line at Dennis Alley Park. All proceeds from the races benefited the YMCA.
