A holiday crowd of kids wearing red antlers and parents sipping hot cocoa filled Healey Square Saturday evening for the tree lighting as part of the Light Up OB weekend. Rose Guerin and Sean McMahon, and then Brian Weiland led everyone in Christmas carols. After lighting the tree, everyone waited for Santa to arrive. Soon an Oak Bluffs fire engine rolled up with the man of the hour and the holiday season officially began.
