Betty Jewel Carter (née Ward), died on Sept. 17 in Oak Bluffs. She was 90.
Edwin B. Gentle died on Sept. 28 in Edgartown from complications of laryngeal cancer. He was 88.

Susan Rosinoff, 74, died on Sunday, Sept. 28, after a long and courageous fight against Multiple Sclerosis. Sue was also a two-time survivor of Breast Cancer.
