Four Vineyard students graduated from the University of Vermont in a commencement ceremony on May 17.
Tayla Kuehne of Edgartown was named to the spring 2015 dean’s list at Lasell College in Newton. A member of the class of 2017, Ms. Kuehne is majoring in exercise science.
Victoria Segel of Edgartown has received an associate of science degree in animal care from Becker College in Worcester.
On Wednesday night, parents and friends flocked to the regional high school for the annual Evening of the Arts and World Culture Night, a student art showcase. Photography, artwork, home designs and even a paddleboard were just a few of the creations on display.
We are the visited, the indigenous Islanders. We own mansions, castles, thatched huts (there must be at least one somewhere up-Island), garage apartments, condos, converted barns, Spider Shacks (maybe just me), bungalows and bodegas. And they know it. And they are coming.
