There is a new StoryWalk at Long Point Wildlife Refuge in West Tisbury.

The Vineyard Conservation Society and Sense of Wonder Creations are collaborating for a short trip to West Chop lighthouse and beaches.

Snowy owls are still hanging around and among the most reliable places to spot them are Norton Point Beach, Quansoo, the West Basin, and lately, East Chop and Ocean Park in Oak Bluffs.

A plan to reconfigure the town beachfront at Squibnocket could be a model for future coastal restoration projects, concludes a report by Greg Berman, a coastal scientist with the Woods Hole Sea Grant Cooperative Extension. But he advised a go-slow approach and said more study is needed.
